The 2027 edition of ISBT Maastricht will commence on the evening of Friday, May 7th. We will play games throughout the day on both Saturday, May 8th, and Sunday, May 9th, starting from 09:00 am. If you are planning to sleep in the sports hall, you are already welcome on Friday evening to register and get settled into your sleeping place. Of course, you can also register Saturday morning before the games start and sleep in the hall for just one night! 

Throughout the weekend, we’ve got you covered with breakfast and lunch on both days! The lunch is offered by our very own cafeteria at the Sports Complex. Saturday night features a delicious dinner from one of our own local restaurants, followed by a themed party where we’ll dance the night away. Don’t miss this exciting weekend of badminton, food, and fun!

After a long break, we brought ISBT back to Maastricht in 2025, and we couldn’t have been happier to see the tournament return.

In 2026, we took things to the next level with our Monster University theme and a weekend full of exciting matches, great costumes, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

Now, we’re getting ready for the next chapter: ISBT Maastricht 2027!

The theme is still a secret for now, but you won’t want to miss it.

So grab your racket, bring your friends, and get ready for another incredible weekend of international student badminton in Maastricht!

ISBT Maastricht takes place at the UM Sports center located at P. Debyeplein 15 in Maastricht. The sports complex is equipped with 12 courts for playing games during the day. The party location and details will be announced later.

In the sports hall, there will be a dedicated area where you can sleep, so you’re more than welcome to stay overnight at the sports hall! If you choose to do so, just remember to bring your own sleeping gear and air mattress.

If you live close to Maastricht, you’re of course also welcome to sleep at home and join us at UM Sports each morning. Just make sure you arrive on time and ready for a fun day of playing and partying!
