Heyyy! My name is Mirte and I am the 35th president of HEEP. I am currently in my 3rd of the bachelors European Public Health. I always enjoyed playing badminton but started playing consistently last year. HEEP has become such a big part of my social life it’s where I’ve made some of my closest friends and shared countless laughs and good times. Besides playing badminton I love to get outside, hang out with friends 

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year at HEEP filled with fun trainings, activities, and memories. I hope to make it a truly memorable board year for all the Heeple! Can’t wait to see you on the court this year!

Hi, my name is Erik and I am the Vice President of HEEP for this year! I am 24 years old and this is my second board year for HEEP. I've played badminton for roughly 12 years. I've been a member of HEEP since 2021 and it has become a big part of my life. I want to be able to give HEEP members the same amazing experience that I had the privilege of enjoying these last few years.

Beyond diving for every shuttle on the court, I also enjoy playing video games, mountainbiking and skiing where free time allows for it, although I did not choose the right country to live in for those hobbies.

Hey, my name is Jessica, and I am the secretary of HEEP this year. I am 20 years old and currently in my second year of a bachelor's degree in Psychology. 

Before joining HEEP, I had only played badminton a little bit back in school. When I came to Maastricht, I was looking for a community and found it here; a friendly, international group where I quickly felt at home. Since then, I’ve not only enjoyed the sport more than ever but also connected with amazing people. Now I want to give that same experience back and bring people together through our association.

Outside of badminton, I enjoy staying active with different sports, spending time with friends, and traveling whenever university life allows.

Hey everyone! My name is Mathieu and I will (yet again) be HEEP's treasurer for this year. I'm 20 years old and currently in my third year studying data science and artificial intelligence. I've been playing badminton on and off for around about 9 years, but I really got into it 2 years ago. HEEP is always a good time, whether on or off the court, so I enjoy helping to make it a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Outside of the sports hall, you'll find me hanging out with my friends, playing music, or doing other nerd activities.

Hi, I am Selma and I am the Head of PR. I am a 21-year-old Liberal Arts and Sciences student at UCM. I’ve been playing badminton for about seven years, and for the last two and a half years, I’ve been a part of HEEP. HEEP has become much more than just the club where I play badminton at and is now a big part of my social life. Through HEEP, I’ve made great friends and shared countless memories, both on and off the court. 

In my free time, I love getting creative and spending time with friends. I was Head of Activities last year and I am so excited for another board year to come, as Head of PR! Hope to see all of you on and off the court!!

Hey, My name is Bence, and I’ll be the Head of Activities for the upcoming semester! I’m 20 years old and currently in my third year of the International Business bachelor’s program.

I haven’t been playing badminton for very long, but ever since I joined HEEP 1.5 years ago, I knew it was the right place for me. This is why I decided to give back to the association by taking on a board year.

Outside of badminton, you’ll usually find me binge-reading a fantasy book or exploring a hiking trail, though I often end up getting lost along the way.
