Hello! My name is Keez and I am the 36th president of HEEP. I am currently in my third year of the Data Science & AI bachelor's. I've been playing badminton for 8 years, and joined HEEP about 1.5 years ago. This is my first year on the board, and I couldn't be more excited to give back to a club that's given me so much.

HEEP has become a big part of my life, on and off the court, and I'm looking forward to making sure all the Heeple have a great year, whether that's on the court, on the socials, or at events.

Outside of badminton, you'll usually find me watching suits on Netflix, deep in a round of Tarkov, or nerding out over PC hardware.

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year full of good trainings, fun activities, and great vibes. Can't wait to see you all on the court smashing away!

Hi! My name is Valerie Trnkova and I am the Vice President of HEEP this year! 

I am 20 years old and currently in my 3rd year of MSP with a focus on Microbiology. I’ve been playing badminton on-and-off for around 8 years but it wasn’t until 2 years ago, when I joined HEEP, that I really committed to it :) HEEP holds a special place in my heart since it’s the place where I met my closest friends. 

Besides playing badminton, I love backpacking long-distance trails, running and doing (or somewhat attempting) as many crafts and DIYs as I can.

Hello everybody,

my name is Juliana and I'm the Secretary of HEEP this year. I have been playing badminton on and off since I was 11. 

I’m 21 years old now and currently in my 3rd year of the Maastricht Science Program, focusing on all things chemistry. I joined HEEP two years ago, and in my time here, I have improved my skills, found amazing friends, and became a part of the best badminton community in Maastricht.  

In my free time, I love being out and about, whether it’s running, swimming, or spending time with my friends. When the famous Dutch weather forces me to stay inside, I enjoy playing the violin, guitar, and crocheting. 

As part of the board of HEEP I want to help keep what makes this community special to me, keeping HEEP open and welcoming for all. From badminton total beginners to badminton pros, everyone can find their place here.

Hey everyone! My name is Bence, and I will be the treasurer this year. I am 21 years old and currently studying Corporate Strategic Finance. Badminton is relatively new for me; I started playing 2.5 years ago when I joined HEEP. Since then, I’ve really enjoyed being part of the association. It’s always a great time thanks to its open and welcoming community.

Outside of badminton I love to read fantasy books, watching F1, or exploring a hiking trail, although I often end up getting lost along the way.

Hii! My name is Nora and I will be the Head of PR for this year :) 

I’m 21 and entering my third year as a Biomedical Science student. I joined HEEP two years ago, and this is where I started playing badminton! Besides badminton, I also love to read a good murder mystery and do a little crafting

When I arrived in Maastricht I was looking for a community, and HEEP is where I’ve made so many great memories and met some of my closest friends. I hope to be able to give back to the association and create the same kind of experience for everyone joining this year.

Hey! I’m Sara, and I will be the Head of Activities this upcoming year! I’m 21, starting my third, hopefully final, year at University College Maastricht.

I started playing badminton five years ago and immediately fell in love. So, joining HEEP was an easy decision, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. But it has given me so much more than just badminton, from my closest friends to my best memories. I hope to use this role to help members appreciate everything HEEP has to offer, both on and off the court.

Outside of badminton, I love my quality times with friends, cuddling up to a good show or movie (usually one I’ve already seen too many times) and the privilege of traveling.

Heyy! My name is Lilly, and this year I’ll be leading ToCo, the tournament commission, for a cool ISBT tournament in May! 

I’m 19 years old and currently in my second year of a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I joined Heep only last Summer after meeting the board at INKOM. But through this association, I’ve made many great friendships and memories over the past year, both on and off the court! 

When I’m not on the court playing Badminton, I love to read and write books. I also enjoy spending time with friends and traveling!
